SORALO hires a new administrator & 16 more Game Scouts

SORALO conducted an in-house recruitment and extended training of 16 new game scouts from across the SORALO landscapes. The training took place in Olorgeseilie, in the heart of the South Rift. Since then, these scouts have been deployed across the landscape from Mailua (Amboseli) to the Loitas (Mara). Radio bases have been established in these remote stations.

SORALO also hired a Scouts Administrator, Maryanne, who helps to coordinate all the bases. She is a fully trained ranger from a Maasai community in the South Rift, who has been trained extensively through the Kenya Wildlife Service primarily a ranger and secondarily a conservation manager.
