A Landmark Legal Win, Improving Conservation Enterprises, and Educating Youth

In this July issue of our e-newsletter, we are ecstatic to share news of a landmark court ruling that preserved a crucial wildlife migratory corridor adjacent to Amboseli National Park. ACC is proud to have played a supportive role in the legal process that led to the win. You’ll also read about how our restoration work continues to create positive conservation impacts as evidenced by the findings of a social economic survey conducted in the Amboseli ecosystem.

Additionally, we’ve included an update on our education programme and Maasai enterprise programmes, including women’s bead sales and a cattle breed improvement programme that has empowered pastoralists to adopt healthier grazing practices that conserve enough pasture for both wildlife and domestic animals.
