ACC’s Urban Resource Center 2020

Expansion plans are underway for ACC’s Nairobi offices. We plan to construct an additional building on our current office site – turning our offices into an urban conservation resource center. Having a center like this is critical to wildlife conservation in Kenya because it provides ACC with the space needed to coordinate field projects, share resources and research with partners, add additional staff, offer trainings for grassroots institutions, and collaborate with communities, funders and governmental agencies.

ACC helps to cultivate other conservation organizations by offering them reduced rent and resources. Currently, several organizations including: South Rift Association Land Owners, Amboseli Ecosystem Trust, Amboseli Conservation Programme, Giraffe Conservation Foundation and Uaso Ngiro Baboon Project are all working collaboratively within ACC’s center, growing their impact with its support.
